How to combine audio and video

Our app has the ability to use RSS feeds that have both audio and video in them.

This can be a great way to display your sermons or other messages, but without having two separate lists to scroll through.

All you would need to do is one of these:

Add the video to your RSS feed

You can add the video by including this line in your RSS feed (for every item that has a video):

This ensures that the app can integrate the video into the podcast.

To add audio make sure this line is in the RSS feed as well:

If both are present, you will be able to watch the video and listen to the audio.

We recommend always to use images in your RSS feed to greatly improve the look of your app. (click here for adding images for WordPress RSS feeds)

An item in the RSS feed would look like this:

Podcast Title

<itunes:author>Podcast Author</itunes:author>
<itunes:summary>The weekly podcast</itunes:summary>

Listen to this amazing podcast, it has a lot of great stuff in it!

<enclosure url=""length="29782567" type="audio/mpeg"/>

Add the video to your content

As an alternative, you can embed a Vimeo or YouTube video inside the content of the RSS feed. Our app will detect that there is a video in the content and will automatically put that on the media page inside the app.
